How does it work?

Utilizing a combination of radiofrequency (RF) and ultrasound technology, Exilis employs controlled heating to deep layers of skin tissue.

During the session, patient will feel a warming sensation. The heat emitted by the Exilis device causes the targeted fat cells to breakdown (a process called lipolysis) and disperse. The thermal energy also boosts the body’s natural ability to produce collagen. Fat cell volume decreases, and  skin is also tightened.

 Is it safe?

Exilis has been tested in clinical studies and proven to be safe and approved by FDA for use.

 Is there any downtime?

Some pinkness on the treated area may last up to 15-30 mins. Patients should increase water intake on the day of treatment and the day after, engage in light exercise to enhance cosmetic results for fat lipolysis treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

The recommended course of treatment is generally 4 sessions, once every week for the first 4 sessions; once a month subsequently for maintenance.

 What results can I expect?

Patients can expect visible smoothing of wrinkles, shaping of body and face after 4-5 sessions of treatment.

 Are there any side effects?

There have been no significant side effects reported with the use of Exilis treatment.

Who is a candidate for Exilis?

Exilis is recommended for any patient who desires cosmetic  improvement on their face and body, particularly areas that show early signs of aging and have not responded to exercise and/or weight loss.

Exilis is ideal for treating skin laxity, and shaping of face and body. Common areas include the eye area, around the mouth, chin area, jaw line, abdomen, back, arms, and legs.
